There is no fued [sic], therefore there is no 'take'.
What is your purpose in asking?

from the Scottish Borders.
I haven't heard of the Braveheart issue being described as a feud.
As I understand it Bravehearts -v- Freestylers is simply a matter of clothing preference. I'm a Braveheart (as I believe are the vast majority of contributors on this forum, and indeed many, including myself, have found this site through the link from Bravehearts (Kiltmen).) I have no feud with Freestylers. I would not seek to object to the dress choice of others.

I would like to see both sides to a story, and yes I didn't catch the miss spelling of feud. seems to me to be a lot of night soil from a well fed male ox. Don't avoid the issue.

There's no problem / feud from this end! People here have a more controlled and "neutral" kilt forum environment and that's the way people on this forum seem to like it. Our topics tend to be a little less "hot button" or "controvercial" (no politics or guns or porn or...), but stick more to the point of the forum: KILTS!
Pull up a seat and enjoy!
BTW... there's nothing wrong with other forums. There's plenty of different kilt forums out ther that have different rules from each other. Find the one (or ONES) you like and contribute!

Don,
Welcome to X Marks the Scot!
From what I understand of the Braveheart site is that it is oriented toward adults and different kinds of MUGS as well as kilts. So adult language and mature themes are allowed as are potentially heated discussions containing politics, sexuality , and religion. X Marks the Scot is strictly about kilts and a family friendly site. Many of us have children that we try to include in our love of kilts and things Scottish (and the forum). To maintain this atmosphere there are pretty specific rules. They are designed to keep X Marks a positive place for all viewers. The moderating staff try their best to enforce those rules fairly and maintain that atmosphere. The topics I mentioned above can be really fascinating but they aren’t worth the price of alienating people here.
I personally think there is room on the internet for both places.
We have a new member section where you can tell us about yourself and your kilted experiences.
Cheers

Interesting you suggest I am avoiding the issue. I believe I answered you in my first post, did I not?
By definition, a feud requires opposing parties to exist. As there is no opposition between the users on the forums, there is no feud. And since there is no feud, we have no 'take' on it.
Take the time to read this forum and you will clearly see there is no 'story' to be gleaned here.

First, welcome to the forum, Don. I hope your time here is as enlightening as mine has been so far.
Might I ask someone to elaborate as to just what this "feud" is, though? I'm mighty confused.
