axemen....it says you need a level 2 smithy for that.....and I do have it....but I can't recruit them?

Cloves, yes you need to research the weapons. Click on the smithy and you will see where.

And KFP, it is definitely addictive!

And for anybody interested, we are up to 20 clan members!
