    Blueland-> X Marks???

I am an Atlanta hockey fan.
Flames (NHL 72-80), Knights (IHL 92-96), and Thrashers (99-present)

The current advertising "schtick" is "Believe in Blueland"
They have it on all sorts of stuff. The phrase is stuck in my head.

I was thinking about it and X Marks makes HEAVY use of blue (look around this page).

    THIS IS BLUELAND!!!!!!
(Having to do with Scotland -blue flag- and the X Marks tartan, etc.)
This is a forum, basically, about wearing kilts.
BUT, it is SO much more.
-Many of you, I count as friends, though I have never met the VAST majority. I wouldn't even know most of the faces, if I ran into you ANYWHERE w/o an identifier (X Marks tartan, anyone????)
THIS is a community in and of itself.
    THIS is a tribe!
    THIS is a CLAN!!!
THIS is a LAND in and of itself!!!
THIS is MORE than a FORUM,
    THIS IS BLUELAND!!!!!!
(Blue flag, white X, and a kilt!!!!)

    WWWWWOOOOO!!!!!!!

    Do you "Believe in Blueland?"

    (Am I off-base here???)

(Thanks for beating Carolina, by the way.)

    I was NOT meaning "X Marks= Thrashers"

    WAS:
X Marks is FAR more than JUST a Forum.
    IT is a Community.
To me, blueland means more in reference to X MARKS, than Atlanta's Arena
-Even when seeing/hearing it at/in/near Philips Arena.

I agree with most of what you're saying, the spirit of it etc... but... you guys need to get yourself a real hockey team!

But... we do have the University of Michigan Wolverines, who's slogan is... GO BLUE!! So I guess that fits!

    BLUESland...

If by "Blue(s)land", you are referring to my beloved St. Louis BLUES, then yes.

That works for me, Todd. Personally, I sing the blues every time I see where the Blackhawks are in the standings.

In terms of a site advertising slogan, "Blueland" isn't bad, but I think of the X more when i think of this site/community rather than blue. I think something like "Goto the X" , or "Follow the X" or "Believe in the X" would be better.
