Aloha from
Michigan.
Already stepped into the fray a bit on the advice forum, and thought I might do well to introduce myself in the proper arena.
I'm a Scott and a Scot, and love kilts and all forms of kilted attire. Married last Sept to my beautiful Cajun wife, naturally did so kilted. I aspire to own at least one kilt in all of the various iterations of my clan tartan, and when I have achieved that I'll just keep going. Sporran collecting is going to be a problem with me, I just know it.
I have a little dog, a big cat, and now (not by my choice) a guinea pig. For some reason looking at the guinea pig makes me hungry, I don't know why. Maybe in a past life I was a Peruvian cavy wrangler. I wonder if a cavy pelt is big enough to make into a sporran. If wife sees this post I'm a dead man.

Cessna, yar! Scotts are Borderers too!
Mountainman! Hello fellow Scott Scot! I soooo want to name one of my kids Scott Scott. Just because. Like Everest, only resulting in childhood trauma inflicted by peers rather than altitude sickness.
MrLion, I am currently living in the middle of a field called Lansing. It is seriously flat here. I grew up in Michigan, but in a metro-Detroit suburban city called "Birmingham." Not to be confused with the identically named polities in Alabama or England.
