Prince whattie? Come on now lad, I said classy, not dressy. As if wearing a kilt isn't classy in it's own right.
Oh yeah,...I still think that was a sneaky, dirty move.

Well, until now I was a bit lukewarm on the tartan flap idea. Now I can't wait to make one of my own!

Mrs.Zardoz ( a Thompson) and I ran into some Clan MacTavish guys in Galveston at Dickens on the Strand last year, and as we talked I realized a couple of them were wearing Stillwater kilts. I asked and they said that their clansmen in Dallas had ordered a special run from SWK in acrylic MacTavish red. They appeared to be the older style (fell not sewn down) 'standard' kilt. I just did a little digging and found this on their website;

or I guess a phone call to Jerry might be in order if you want one.

The combo looks great. I, too, have a SWK standard in the MacTavish tartan. They had a bulk order for a clan gathering, and I bought a prototype of it that just happened to be in my size. My only connection to Clan MacTavish, is that my grandmother was a neighbour of theirs (Clan Currie) in the Dunoon area (Argyll) of Scotland.

I have thought of getting one to honor my wife's family, she always wears the Thomson Blue tartan, but I rather like the red one..
