Eh, they're so similar. The Mcleod is just more common, I've heard it called the "Bumblebee Tartan" more than once. I was at Wooster College in my Gordon, and a rabble of Mcleod kilties (I assume from the Wooster pipe band) comes over and we talk about kilts and piping, and they all, affectionately, refered to it as the "Bumblebee Tartan".

Well, its back to invisible. I've worked an eleven hour day around about 45 coworkers, led two treatment groups with a total of 22 clients for three and a half hours, been to the post office, around neighbors...and only got the one comment about being "bright" today.

Guess folks are used to me in kilts....even LOUD kilts....

    Kind of a letdown...wanted a Loud MacLeod for when I wanted to make a bold impression....but nada...nil...zilch...

I do like it myself though and dang it, that's all that's important.

My friend. The dark shirt and hose greatly subdue the effect.

Bright red shirt, bright red hose, bright yellow bonnet.

It is all about contrast. The dark dims the yellow a good bit. You need more vibrancy.

    Ron,
It may be loud, but I really like the MacLeod of Lewis. Enjoy it.

Could be some interesting psychology involved so that the louder an item of clothing is the less it is commented on.

It took four hours for the initial retinal damage to subside enough to realize it was you coming back into the room so the comment could be addressed to the correct person?
