Beautiful! The recent frost has wilted all the flowers on the trees around here.

You all mean to say that this is not normal springtime weather? It certainly is around these parts. I clearly remember a spring day a few years ago in which the temp. was 92F and the next morning it was 17F with 6 inches of white stuff on the ground.

A real first, last nights baseball called due to snow!
No snow for Christmas, but plenty for Good Friday.

Of course, there's the time that it snowed on the 4th of July too.

Around here the long range forecast is for no temps above 50 but every night will be below freezing for at least the next 7 days. Snow flurries off and on at any given time but no predictions of the 3" that some local places got this week. Nice picture at cnn.com this morning of the snow on the White House and the tulips that were covered in snow.

I just got back to Houston last night and it's colder'n hell here too! Got in to a cold rain that caused the traffic at Bush Intercontinental to run about 45 minutes late on landing....cold, driving rain all the way into town.

LOL Back home, we always say that if you don't like the weather wait 15 minutes, it'll change. That's especially true in early spring.

Yeah, I know. We have some beautiful red and yellow tulips in the front yard. But the stems froze and they are all bent over pointing down and touching the ground. And now they are getting covered in more snow.
