My Mom had a '69 Camero. Bright canary yellow, black vinyl roof, yellow and black houndstooth interior, 307 and an automatic - she doesn't know how to drive a stick. When Mom and Dad were getting ready to move from Wichita to Estes Park, CO, around 1995 they sold it. I had been sitting there waiting for the chance to get it from them and .....

My grandfather bought a 64 mustang, forest green, rarely drove it. He was pretty clear with the family that he bought it for me to drive one day. When he died unexpectedly and much to young, my grandmother sold it. Said she wasn't going to be responsible for me killing myself.
So I've been a fan of thi sera for a long time.

I checked the paper yesterday and nothing that was either worth what they were asking or not costing an arm and leg.

Let me know when this thread starts discussing REAL muscle cars.
Yes...I'm talking MOPARs
My dad's '69 Plymouth Barracuda, 340 Formula S, smoked every Chevy Shovell from Monroe, LA to New Orleans. His '67 Barracuda (which I was concieved in) would blow away every Mustang and it had a 273 and a 2brl.
Not to mention...Richard Petty drove MOPAR for most of his career...enough said...OH...The General Lee...MOPAR.

Well MOPAR has certainly enjoyed quite an uptick and interest and price, but like my kilts, I want something I can be proud to be seen in public in!
But if anyone has pics of their current favorite muscle car or collector or antique, I would love to see them (even MOPARs)
