My fathers friend use to own a bar in Dallas Fort Worth area and use to have tricycle races on Saturday nights.Grown men tricycles and alcohol very hilarious combination.

I think i still have my Big Wheel.... that looks like fun,,, dont think i could peddle it anymore.. and not in my kilt,,, i like my kilts too much to risk destroying them.... falling down on concrete,,,,,

Oh I looked up the event.
In San Francisco it's done down the long very twisty almost vertical wavy street from the picture, but I don't know the name of the street. It's been in a number of movies. So you get lots of short momentum before needing to turn.

T'is a nice street. I like it in San Francisco. Home of The Zodiac it be. As for big wheels and kilts? Yes. Regimental? YES!
