    An apology.

I wanted to apologize to my fellow X-Markers. Earlier today i made a post about a video game that depicted the tragedy at Columbine High School.

I in no way whatsoever meant to offend anyone with that post.

i'd heard on a news story that one a survivors or victim at Virginia Tech was also a Columbine survivor. i was trying to find out if it were true and came across an article about that game, to my shock.

Again, i never meant to offend anyone and deeply apologize if i may have.

Just thinking out loud Mr. Dragon, but you seem to be a reasonable fellow from some of the posts I've seen. I'm sure if you meant to offend, there would not be a question of if. It's not a trait of your personality.

Sometimes I think people need to grow slightly thicker skins. They need to listen to what someone is saying, really read or listen to it, and not get bent out of shape just because they speak about the tragedy/non politically correct subject of the moment in a way that can be twisted to cause offense. I mean, come on, do you really think anyone would deliberately make light of something as terrible as that? We're all adults here people, and yes, I know that there are some that are sub adult in age, but if they're here, they are a long way from being immature.

Rant over, thanks for reading. I feel better now...

No need to apologise, Green Dragon. I fully understood that you had brought this to our attention to express your revulsion at the game. My only concern with your post was that I was initially worried that maybe you'd unintentionally scored an own goal by publishing a link which somebody who wanted to play the game might be enabled to do so by using a link from this forum, but your link led to a Wiki article which confirmed that the game was no longer available for download, so my fears were quickly allayed and no harm done. Sleep easy and forget it, all the best to you.

I echo the other two. I took no offense to your posting the link to the wiki article. You obviously weren't agreeing with the writer of the game.

Agreed. I can't believe the guy who created it had the gaul to claim he was trying to convince others not to follow in the shooters footsteps by showing them footage of the events (found the wiki article myself after seeing this thread.)

GreenDragon, accidents happen. This is just one of those instances where we can all learn from your mistake there is no harm done in doing a final review of a post prior to submitting it.

The 'game' deserves no further recognition through further posting about it, so I am locking this thread down.
