Nothing for months, then two kilt moments in a week!
It's been a while since I was on the board- everything's doing fine, we've got a new house and FINALLY sold the old one.
I was moved to post because I wore my Sportkilt out the other night to a contest and got loads of compliments- and my daughter will be in a punk show soon and a couple of the boys have asked where they could get a hold of kilts cheap.
So the first one- I'd say it brought me luck, on the second, I wished good luck to them.
Been a nice break but maybe I'll hang around a bit more now that I've got an actual sewing room to play in...

I've got a friend at church who'd like a kilt because - and I quote - "It's just the sort of mad thing I'd do". He was a bit put off by the AU$200+ price, though.

Yeah- these kids are doing an Old School Punk Show (anyone who's local and wants to come, PM me) and they got all excited when my kid told them she knew where to get kilts and "They cost, I dunno, like $20."
When you're in third grade, anything more than ice cream and less than a car costs $20-$30, I swear. :P
