So, what freaks you out?

I thought I'd ask after one of the things that (inexplicably) freaks me out popped up on TV tonight. For me, there are three things that cause an instant panic reaction when I catch sight of them. 1: Spiders. Any shape, any size. You want to see a fat man fly? Put a spider in front of me. 2: The Burger King plastic king thing. I don't jump like I do with spiders, but two or more sightings in a day will give me nightmares that night. 3: This is totally inexplicable, but I get a cold chill anytime I see the Energizer bunny. No jumping, very few nightmares, but a shiver down my spine.

haha .Seen a lady on television that way terrified of tin foil once thought it was funny couldnt help myself had to laugh out loud.Me personally I quess it would be something terrible happening to one of my kids because I love those little boogers.

Iambic pentameter and pretetentious people just make my blood run cold. Don't know what it is about those two things... admittedly, the people bother me more than the prose.

Wasps freak me out, it's a long story why but years after a childhood trauma I cannot bear to have one flying anywhere near me, especially indoors.

The biggest thing that sends shivers down my spine is the sound of a dental drill. Even if I am just walking by at the dentists office, I just cringe like crazy. Other things that freak me out are spiders and heights, even when I know logically I am safe. o.O

Crawl in the closet when it thunders and lightening's. Gawd forbid if there are storm warnings up when the thunderstorms are going on! Have to take a valium on top of hiding! Of course, the kitties are right with me in that closet lol

Strange enough the only thing that freaks me out is looking at a broken fingernail I can feel the break and I make a fist so I can't feel the pain. (my wife laughs with all the things I see daily this is my Achilles heel.)

Big bridges, especially at height, but only when I am driving. It's worse if the traffic is bad, or I cannot see both ends, and the worst is the old ones with corrugated metal instead of a solid surface.

Wasps , bees and Hornets. Snakes, and spiders don't bother me. I had a pet black widow spider in a hole in one of the analyzer shacks I worked in at the plant. She was nearly dime sized (counting the legs). I used to catch insects and feed them to her, but then I went on vacation and my relief as analyzer tech killed her. I felt like he was a murderer. I think the wasps/bees thing stems from my being stung 10 or more times once as a kid when I disturbed a nest.
