When you add in the wives, gf's and S.O.'s that look over X-Marks now and then, plus the ever-present unregistered lurkers, I bet we're more like 3,500 semi-regular readers...

I just checked back and we clocked our 1001st member on 15 December 2005.

What is that, approximately 23 months to 1000? And now it's been another 16 months (give or take) to 2,000?

    About 1/2000th, I'd say.

I think I'll go off and feel small, now. ;)

If every member were to contribute one post a day how many of us would have time to go through them all?

Well, not all of them post any more. Some I'm glad are gone (by own volition and some by mod boot-> don't know which are which, unless made obvious by mods). Other ones, I miss their contributions.

I REALLY like most of the present common posters (and a number that "lurk," but rarely post-> Steeplechase, come on post more, you have great stuff to add!!!).

This little corner of the internet is one of my absolute favorites and inspires my creative juices and challenges me to try new projects (which makes me appreciate the craftsmanship of the nicer stuff I buy). I am getting closer and closer to the fully self-made nice kilt kit .
