    American Heritage Tartan

I like the American Heritage tartan and I am considering getting one from USA Kilts. I want to know what you think about pleating it to the white stripe?

If you look at the thread where Rocky unveiled it, there's a couple of pictures of the kilt he made for himself, which is pleated to the white stripe.
Personally, I'm leaning towards the red stripe, but I haven't sat down and figured out the pleats yet.

I was thinking I would discuss it with Rocky if I were you, I am sure he will steer you in the right direction, but I think the white Stripe woiuld look great.

I think the whit stripe makes the rear look too "bright". Better perhaps to bury the white, pleat to the red, and have the white flash out as the pleats swing.
    IMHO

I had completely forgotten about the American Heritage Tartan. I feel an itch coming on

I'd pleat it to the White stripe. Simply because it tends to accentuate the red, white and blue which after all is what the tartan is about. The black will be great popping out while the pleats open and close. However, I agree it will create a drastic contrast between the front apron and the pleats.
