    Another short tour

Just thought I'd post a few pics from the area surrounding The Welsh Tartan Centre in town.
The Tartan Centre is based in an L shaped edwardian arcade with entrances at both ends. There are many little cafes, Hairdressers, fashionable clothes and arty type shops surrounding it. The arcade also has a balcony with shops upstairs as well. The arcade is extremely well maintained and is lit up fantastic at Christmas time.
Just around the corner from here

    You will find

View from the other entrance to the Arcade

The caste is opposite one entrance to the Arcade

Opposite the other entrance to the arcade is St John's Street, at the end of which is the 12th Century St John's Church. This little street is full of bars, pubs and Italian Restaurants. The one pub in this street .. The Old Arcade, is famous in Wales as a Rugby Six Nations meeting place. Its the pub further down the pic with the plants hanging outside. Unless you get in there by 8am on a match day, you won't get in. All the other pubs pubs are full not long after as well (and the streets) but the Old Arcade has a tradition.

A two minute walk in a straight line and you are here

Its called the Old Arcade because a little Arcade runs down the side of it into the indoor market.

Thats it .. did'nt take anymore .. I'm off down the town again today and will take some more pics ... if you want me to post anymore .. let me know. Don't want to bore everyone. I was wearing my Cilt when I took the pics by the way.

Very Nice Derek!!!! Those are nice photos!
