First Kilted Outing/Full day kilted
Well I had my first kilted outing, and spent my first full day kilted today. I went casual, just my SWK economy Black Watch kilt and my favourite hoody, though I did wear my hose and flashes from USA Kilts (and my SWK economoy sporran of course). It went pretty well, got a few weird looks, a few smiles and nods, and very few comments. The only disparaging comment was actually about my hose (and the person who said it counts for squat in my books anyways). So all in all a pretty good day . I really need to thank all of you folks here, I prolly wouldn't have had the guts to spend a whole day kilted without the knowledge and confidence I've gained from being a member here. So, cheers mates!

Excellent news, good for you, I think if your experience is anything like mine you will find even the disparaging comments disappear after a little while.

Once you get over the initial angst there is no going back. I give you 2 weeks of regular wearing & I say you'll be hooked so badly you will despise your trus Now you need plenty of kilts & accessories.
