keep 'em tidy?

I just revisited the lovely (casual, dressy, formal) picture threads.

Maybe a mod can clean them once in a while...some posts have dead picture links. Perhaps also delete comments to keep it a true picture gallery?

This may come as a surprise to you, but sifting through threads, searching out dead links is one of those tasks that we simply don't have time to do.

When the time arrives we are not dealing with all the daily drama and disaster around here, we'll try to look into pruning out all the dead links in all 253,000+ posts.

I can't even imagine the howling that would take place if I were to delete a post with a broken image link in it, only to find the server the image was stored on was down at that particular time.

While it is a wonderful suggestion, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on this one.
