You can always tell that guys in Kilts are just plain happy as these pictures show.

Well, this morning I drove down to Santa Cruz and climbed up on the boat to install my long-saved headfoil. IT's been sitting in the attic for about 10 years, waiting for the right boat. It will fit this one just fine....
but about 7/8th of the way on, I hit a hard spot in the plastic...and busted it.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH....... no headfoil, no sail. $375 gone..bye-bye. I swore a blue streak when I did that.
so I'm home, just ordered a new one out of Massachusetts, and will try again in two week.s
But I MISSED BEER NIGHT to get enough sleep to DO this sail. *SNARL*

I'm just going to echo Rigged's response. I've got to clear the decks to make next month's gathering.

Charlie,
Sinbad would be happy to see your son at our Kilt/Beer Night!

Love the pic of the Loud MacLeod family!
But hey, what's this kilt "NIGHT" stuff...either you've one very powerful flash or its daylight out....
Looks like you Cali folks get an early start....?

Ron, you provided your own answer... the Loud MacLeod family! Their outfits kept the place supplied with daylight for hours - and Sinbad and Xena provided an over-supply of energy - until they ran out.
Another fine evening rubbing shoulders with Casey and all the regulars.

Cool photos. I have a friend in Aptos that we visit every year or so. Will have to schedule a visit around a NorCal evening.

Great pics and, obviously, a great group. Too bad you're about 3,000 miles from here. Our upstate NY Kilt Club could have a great time with you guys.
