My McKenzie tartan has been to Wisconsin a couple times, Arkansas twice, and Illinois once for a total of about 6,000 miles. Plus I wear it occasionally here at home too, so it has some serious hours on it.

My Celtic Craft Centre, Wallace, has been from Scotland to the US to Italy and Ireland and back to the US and as far east as Washington DC and as far west as Washington state...also wore it in Las Vegas.

Interesting thread, as always Glen...
for me it's a USAK casual (Gunn)....no buckles, no metal, no hassles. It's done Australia to USA to UK to home.
Frankly tho', next time I travel I'm thinking straps and buckles..I'm so fed up with airports restricting our fun and freedom, they can take it or ask me to remove the kilt, I care less.

On our last two road trips (Seattle & Las Vegas) I wore my black UK Original while driving. It's the most comfortable and practical for that. I usually wear one of my tartan kilts once we arrive.

I have hopped across the pond and back three times since I forsook the tyranny of the trouser (8 years ago this month), have made minor forays into the European continent, have popped up to Scotland countless times and to Wales twice. Each time I will have taken a selection of kilts from The Kollection and so it is difficult for me to say which might have travelled greater distances. One thing of which I can be certain is that since I always travel, by whatever means, in a Utilikilt* one of those probably stands a better chance of topping the list than any other.
(* No worries about creased pleats, massively useful pockets for Passports and other travel documents, and no large buckles to set off security alarms (although the press-snaps HAVE on occasion), make this the perfect garment for wear whilst travelling.)

I completely agree on the UK for travel.

I have never counted either and several of my kilts and cilts have been north of the border.
But as my Roberts Welsh tartan cilt has been north of the border twice I guess it just has the edge at this stage
I would guess that the Maple Leaf would win the title on its own as it is coming from Canada! And will of course be going back in due course!

It would have to be my MacIan tartan kilt. It has been on three trips with me: to the Smoky Mountains, my cruise to Bermuda, and my latest cruise to the Mediterranean. It's probably got about 14,000 miles on it.
I wasn't wearing it the whole time on any of the trips, but it has gone the farthest.
