    Kilts ARE Winning!

Sears has adopted a kilt feature for their pants! We are winning!!

Having "grown" the past years I not only had to sell off some kilts, I found that when I was "directed" to wear pants to work I had to order up some pants that fit.

Just got in four pair of chinos from Lands End (Sears). Danged if they don't all have hanging loops on both sides of the top band - JUST LIKE MY HANDSEWN KILTS!

I worked years for a cut and sew factory that contracted with Sears and I can tell you from personal experience and memories of extreme frustration that NOTHING goes into a Sears garment that isn't strictly dictated by Sears.

The loops are probably about as worthless on a pair of chinos as they are on a handsewn kilt - but to me its a great sign - that the pants designers are now incorporating kilt features into their bifurcated torture devices.

    Very good.
The hanging loops on cheap polycotton kilts are a useful feature so a logical step to introduce them on cheap polycotton trousers.
Like you I prefer to lay my better quality kilts flat.
