Absolutely rocking! I've dealt with SWK four or five (or six) times and it's always been a first class transaction all the way. Good pricing and good value, absolutely stellar customer service. I think everyone who would like to see kilts become more popular should "think good vibes" towards Jerry at SWK. He has done SO much here in the States to make "pretty much real kilting" a practical reality. Fine, hand tailored garments from the finest wool? No. Then again, how many of the suits sold in America are fine, hand tailored garments from the finest wool? I'd stack SWK kilts up against most off the rack suits in America for terms of quality, and take odds.
Guys, we're talking about half the price of a SportKilt, here. I've got some older SKs, and an economy SWK. I've gotten far more use from the economy SWK than the SKs, it feels more like a kilt to me (just my opinion) and I like the way it hangs and swishes and resists wrinkles better than the SK. In fact, I've taken the buckles and straps off of that one (about a year ago) and replaced it with two patches of velcro. I think the ThriftyKilt is gonna be a hit.
Way to go. I love it.
