Dropped the kids at school, worked all morning in the office, drove 35 miles to go to a board meeting, drove 45 miles to another board meeting, then home about 90 minutes ago. Steak on the grill with a baked potato and now I'm going to spend the evening watching the New York Yankees.

This morning was more of the same "staff Meeting" :crap actualy the238954th report from "The Commitee For Dogs and Cats" "we have no dogs, we have no cats") So as I have detected a "Terrorist Threat" on the site closest to my home I shal guard it untill the threat abates, just at quitting time. However on the bright side I discovered that my goad at our "Esteamed Panache" has borne fruit, a new "penny dreadful" is in the offing ![Hooray](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/hooray.gif) ![Red](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/red.gif) ![Green](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/green.gif) ![Blue](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/blue.gif) ![Yellow](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/yellow.gif)

Went into work at 5am to make pizzas for 9 hours, mowed the lawn, then I'm driving for an hour and a half to meet some friends at a ballgame, then (hopefully) victory party at the bar afterwards.
But this weekend is looking up! I get to drive to Iowa and meet my girlfriend. Haven't seen her for a month and it is really starting to get me blue...

Ok, i know that i answered this question yesterday, but today's a new day. I was up all night last night with a horrible tooth ache, so I am completely not motivated to work today. I think i'm just going to sit at my desk today and talk to all of you. Tonight, as long as my tooth doesn't get worse, i'll be hosting a poker party at my house.
Tomorrow we'll be celebrating my birthday at the local Irish Pub, for a huge kilt night. We should have about 20 kilted individuals there. I'll make sure to post some pictures on Monday.
Cheers!

Today was my research / study / teaching day, so no patients. Up at 9 am, breakfast (porridge, orange juice, coffee), then rang up several people, worked on my pc, out to lunch (on my mountain bike -sorry, I don't mean I was eating while cycling) with a friend, back home, a bit more work, then out again to have my beard trimmed, and finally spent an hour tutoring a pakistani doctor in the local hospital in preparation for an exam he is doing. Home, showered, dinner, a glass of wine, and rang various people.
And not a kilt in sight!

A Day In The Life...
Let's see, I stayed up to a little after 0200 hrs this morning tweaking the freeware audio grabber I downloaded the other day (Exact Audio Copy), setting all the various parms & determining the read & write offsets, etc. Then it was off to the cube farm for another exciting day as a software engineer for the world's premier card company - American Express! (Wearing my State of Arizona tartan & Clan Donnachaidh shirt.) Seeing as it's the end of the workweek, my night owl ways had me too tired to bicycle to work so I made my unnecessary contribution today to global warming. Too bad, too, because with the "cold" spell we've had for the last couple of days, today will probably be the last day until October where our high temp will only be in the double-digits. At lunchtime, I walked over to Starbucks & picked up the new Paul McCartney album (how times have changed) & then walked down to Office Max & got a couple of spindles of 100 CD-Rs. Tonight, I'll start using my new audio grabber along with my .FLAC Frontend audio compressor utility to start archiving the 7,000+ CDs in my music library, as well as finish putting away the remainder of the couple thousand CDs I took to my last DJ gig. Tomorrow I'll give blood (double-dose) & go to our local Kilt Night & help Ayin McFye celebrate his birthday (& anesthetize his tooth-ache).
Life is better kilted! ![Cool](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
