Yes, I guess you're becoming hooked like some of us here.

That is an awful and chronic condition. The only known cure is to send me all of your money and feed MY addiction.

I've been on the two-step program:
The first step is admitting that you have a problem. The next step is to buy another kilt!

I fail to see any problem here;
After two whole months I have one Blackwatch, one Blackwatch with Fly Plaid, one Irish Saffron with Fly Plaid, one Black Casual, One Amerikilt, one Utilikilt, one Thrifty Black Stewart (great for summer) and am awaiting another thrifty Kilt, and One Pride of Scotland with Fly plaid, and a Royal Stewart.
Then of course there are the Kilt Pins, Brooches, Hose, Sporrans etc. Prince Charlie is beginning to loom in the distance......
I wear my kilts daily, Shopping etc. and belong to not one Highland/Celtic/Kilting group - don't know if San Fernando valley CA has any- and I revel in my addiction, ha! ha! ha! Do you hear? REVEL I SAY! (Got to go, the nurse is coming for my Electric Shock treatment soon...........) No prob. buy another kilt, you'll be just fine......

So Major Dan, are you going with the modern Montgomery or the more muted ancient?
One thing about that modern... it stands out in a crowd! Wouldn't you agree, Mang1974?

Tell you what....them now four Stillwaters - depending on which model - come pretty close to the down payment on a hand sewn traditional from Kathy Lare in your favorite Montgomery flavor....
And if Rocky still has U.S. Army tartan do consider the semi-traditional to go with all your accessories...its well worth it. Got one myself.
What you're gonna find out with the next stage of your disease is that you really need hand sewn traditional kilts to go with those fine accessories you bought.
Then, once you own a hand sewn traditional kilt you're gonna NEED more of them.

I got my 5 yarder in anceint Montgomery. I like it better than the modern. I think I'll save the modern for the eventual 8 yard hand made tank. I just might have to go back to war to afford it though.

I think that the US Army semi trad from Rocky is next. The Montgomery Clan has modern on sale so I might buy 8 yards of it and send it to the Wiz and have him make me one. I like the stash pocket Idea. I know it's not trad but I like it none the less. There are really many good kilt makers that I seen here that it might be hard to pick one but that will be just another part of the quest.
