    I have one and like it a lot. I bought it as an ex-hire kilt, so I only paid $200 or so for it (but waited so long for it that I thought I'd been taken).

    Heed Barb's advice and don't take it to a dry cleaners without basting it though. I have to figure out how to get mine back into the proper pleats now that the Saltire is disfunctional.

    While I like the look of the kilt I'm not sure I want to walk around with a great big "X marks the spot" directly on my backside...

    I agree with Bruce here - it's a bit of a gimmick but certainly impressive. I have a bow tie with saltires on which is a bit less "in your face".
