    Welcome to the fray, Gerald.
The folks that order kilts and then whine about the wait don't have any idea how bad the Jones is when you're making your own kilt! Knowing that the fabric is just lying there in the other room, and only your own weakness is standing in between you and a new kilt, is excruciating!

Been there...done that (and at 2:30 AM, too!)

By the way...I do hope your digi-camo is not nylon. I've been able to find little else lately.

No it was labelled as a twill. It does have the little squares like ripstop nylon which work like having a built in graph paper. Very handy.

    One more question....

The instructions say to... "make note of where you want to trim off the inner apron while it's strapped around your rump."

I have no idea where I "want" to trim it. Can I just leave it 16" as specified in the diagram ? Should I trim it at less than this ?

    thanks

Having just spent 4 straight hours on some 13 oz Douglas tartan, I know the feeling.
My eyes are blurry and my left arm is half asleep from holding the pleats as I stitch.
