Not sure if this is kilt related

When I was at the kilt kamp, I the chance to do some bicycling with Way2fractious in Victoria. Before that weekend, I had no motivation to get on my bike. I made one excuse after another. Because of lack exercise, I could not loose my winter weight.

After 2 days of cycling in beautiful Victoria, I got my groove back. I have been riding and exercising. I rode about 100km in the last 2 days.

I wonder who I will have the pleasure to pedal with in the future.

Heck yea!! I used to be a Bike messenger and every day I would eat a pint of Ben and Jerry’s New York supper chunks, yet I would never gain weight. Now I work in an office and am married to a Chef. LOL.. I’m up to about 220.. However I still ride my bike to work. Biking is the shizznick!

Congratulations on getting your gumption back!

My family are avid cyclists. We all cycle to and from work and have summer cycling holidays.
If you happen to be in Scotland in August perhaps you can join us.

Now, that is great to hear! Ride on!

For everyone else, perhaps I should mention that "some bicycling with Way2fractious" was more like a zig-zagging, meandering, leisurely tour of the backroads and byways of that lovely city - stopping and taking pictures at cafes, castles, Parliment, boat docks, bridges, seasides, various front yard landscaping, a really funky bike repair shop... and even a kilt shop with "Freedom" in its name! Maybe some of my "tourist" style of riding rubbed off on Raphael.

(Again, how far is a kilometer? )

I am still a racer in heart, but I don't mind to slow down and smell the roses once a while. Since none of bike has any eyelet to attach bike rack, my touring style will need to be supported by a veichle.

A kiltometre is roughly 0.623 mile.
