Ties and kilts are always a problem. Some people tuck the end inside the kilt. It probably works best when worn with a waistcoat.

That's what I do, checked with Geoffrey Kiltmaker's catalogue and that's what their models are doing.
I'll start a bit of a row over the flashes, which I haven't worn in 30 years, but ever since someone posted, on a different thread, that they should be further forward, so many pics have come in with flashes too far forward.
I like the comment someone made about not upstaging the bride. I've had it happen at one wedding where some of us got the impression there were more pics of me and the bride than the groom and bride. After that, I became more careful wearing my kilt to weddings.

What you have there is about right, unless the bride is in bluejeans you will not up stage her, you will however make the bride's maids notice you.
