I just looked at a few of them. I am not sure about the kilts, but the pictures that I looked at were of kilts that needed to have the pleats pressed. It just it not look to me like something that you would want to show for marketing.

Although I am interested in this type of kilt (neo-kilt?) for myself I would more material to have more and deeper pleats. I think that I like the idea of a kilt that wears at the hips, but I would like it to have pleats more like a 'traditional' kilt.

For the price I might consider giving one a try and see what I think then.
