    Be scared, very scared. There's a thread in the archive from the first time it happened to me. Took several days for the smell to completely disappear. I talked to one of the pipers from Mudmen, he told me what it was like to tour Canada with kilts and pipes that never quite dried out in a van. What a nightmare.

    So that's the context of the question.

    We are used to wet kilts in Scotland, when you are in the pub, get some more whisky down you, then you won't bother about the aroma of drying kilts.

    That's to baaaaddd.
    for the 4th of July parade I had on Dreadbellys wool hat and people were spraying me with water ( I told them to ) and boy did the hat smell but it did keep me cool, acted just like a swamp cooler.
