    Yeah. It was a lucky find to get one in a size for me.
    They actually have a lot of, I think, 5 yard, 16oz tweed kilts on ebay.co.uk for about the same price, but I don't know what customs would be like for you.
    They are by the same makers as mine, I think.
    Here's a picture of one that is pretty much identical to mine.


    And now I am wondering if I can somehow dye this jacket so it will be a little more muted and match the kilt...

    Another point Arlen, have you noticed the increasing number of kilt shops springing up in almost evey place you travel through in the last few years, there must be money to be made in this expanding market and I am not talking about the cheap kilts for approximately £40 that are ok for messing about at a football or rugby match

    Yes, there do seem to be new kilt shops everywhere. And a lot of them are trying to capitalize on these 'modern kilts' without really knowing what they are talking about.

    I think there must be a lot of money to be made if you can find a fabric source cheap enough.
