Thanks David, a long time since I have visited the church.
There is also a monument to Scott in Roath Park in Cardiff in the form of a lighthouse.

Nice piccies David, when were you over there...recently?
Les and I are aiming for another trip to Scotland next summer (July/Aug. 2008). Might see you over there again??

Great photos. I've enjoyed many a journey up that line. Did you visit the Llechwedd Slate Mine, where you plunge down for an eternity into the dank depths of hell in a sort of Meccano funicular? Great fun. But possibly not for the miners of the day. I wonder if any of them ever realised that one day their hellish daily underground workplace would be a tourist attraction with ice creams.

I don't think Scotland is on the cards next year... I'll have to chat with the wife. The pics are from the summer hol's we have just had
