Yes, one of the companies that was distributing by mail fraked the daggit and shipped early. There was a whole book available on eBay earlier this week.

Well my fingers are crossed that what I read was somehow wrong and the book hasn't been ruined for me yet

Actually, for the fifth movie they used a new screenwriter. I enjoyed it for what it is, an adaption to a different medium, that has to take into account an audience that are not built in fans of the books.

I would love to see some of you guys adapt a 700+ page literary work into a workable screenplay cause believe me, it's not bloody easy and considering the short time frame between movies, I've been generally pleased with the Harry Potter films.

Now I need to get back to work on that Mad Max 4 script as part of a dare from a film studies friend attending Hofstra.

Have read all the books and seen all the movies. Enjoyed them all. This last movie is a bit more adult and rather dark - wel,l so was that book. Am expecting deliveryof the final book tomorrow - Amazon willing & the Post Office doesn't steal yet another of my packages. (Tickets are there but package is 'gone'...Maybe Dumbledore is drawing them into Hogwarts???)

I can confirm that UPS has PALLETS of the books sitting in our warehouses ready to ship tomorrow morning. We've had them for a week now and it's been really hard not to sneak off and read one then put it back

In about an hour, I'm going to put on my Ravenclaw robes, and go over to Hastings, to hang around for four hours, waiting for my copy of the new book. Yes, I am a nerd. Thank you, thank you.

It looks as if I'll get my copy free since I am guaranteed to have it today but UPS refuses to deliver to my address on saturday's. Why Amazon went with UPS this time and not the post office or Fed Ex like the last times is interesting.
