I'm not a fan either, although I will confess to having seen all the Lord of the Rings movies. My excuse? They were filmed in New Zealand, of course!

I have all of the books. Picked up number seven at 12:03 A.M. CDT. I have enjoyed them. One must understand that I enjoy those types of stories. I do hope that everyone has a great day.

And no I will not give away the ending, because I have not finished it yet.

As mentioned in the thread about Order of the Phoenix I went to the book release party at my local bookstore, and yes, I dressed up for it. One thing that surprised me was that there were more Ravenclaws there then Griffindors -- though now that I think about it, the bookstore in question is literally right next door to the university campus, so....

And no spoilers, but I am finished with the book.

We got the book delivered yesterday, for my daughter. I haven't read any of them, but I did read the last chapter of this one. Want me to tell you who gets and ? OK, maybe not.

I've seen all the movies and I think they are great. My daughter fills me in on what's missing.

I've never read the books myself but I have seen the movies, the latest just yesterday. We started out taking the kids but yesterday it was just me and the wife. I found them entertaining. Star Wars is the series I never really got into. Saw a couple of the newer ones but I don't think I've ever seen the originals except for bits and pieces on TV. (Ducks and runs for cover as legions of Star Wars fanatics hurl rotten fruit at him.)

Ham, I have not read any of the books, nor have I seen any of the movies. My wife has read all the books and has seen all the movies. I jut like comedies. When I go to the theater, I want to laugh and forget what is going on in the real world. My wife and I are as different as night and day when it comes to picking a movie. There have been times that we watch different movies in the same theater complex. She is a type A and I am a type ADHD. Viva la Difference.
