I never tire of seeing Glencoe and yes the sun does shine there, occasionally.Early morning when the sun gets above the hills and especially on a quiet sunny evening it is a magical place to be.The silence is almost painful,a whisper is almost too loud.I have often wondered that if this glen's sad past was not known about, whether it would still have it's sombre, not depressing, atmosphere.I rather think it would. Those lowering hills are really very special. The weather and the glen can also be as wild and dangerous as anywhere else in the world.
