I expect we'll see Welsh rugby fans wearing them next season.

There may be one or two Alex but it seems the casual PV St David's is becoming the most popular for these occasions.

I thought I had seen tacky - but now I am sure. As a descendant of welsh royalty - I think it is a bit much - just my opinion. If you like it go for it. I think I would prefer a cilt like the St. Andrew's. I am a big fan of understated.

Hamish, then again, maybe with an extremely large Sporran and a huge (and I mean HUGE) P.C. ??? Tempted? (Now, now, no abusive language is allowed on this forum, I was just thinking out loud...) heh!
That really is the most tackiest thing I've ever seen; it's even worse than Aussie flag undies!

Well, if Harry Potter were from Wales, it might be appropriate for Hogwarts excursions to Hogsmeade.
And, while I feel strongly connected to my Welsh roots, that would only be a drinking kilt. Not for formal wear of any kind.

Out of pure contrarianism, I'll throw in my two pesos.
Hey, maybe some stout Welsh fellows will buy these kilts, and then, as they sink their toes into our subculture, move in a more traditional direction.
Getting more men in kilts, that's a good thing. Then we worry about the upgrades . . .
