    It looks pretty good. So, do you put a belt on to fasten the kilt and then fold the material back over and wear the kilt belt on the outside?

    Basically this is a form of the philabeg isn't it, differing by folding the top half inside the lower half.

    Looks really good. If I could get some fabric like that, I'd probably consider sewing in the pleats.
