    edinburgh what a lovely city!

Edinburgh and the Fringe festival are one......wow the seccond largest open air free festival....number 1 is the carnaval in Rio!
It's been already years ago the last time I went but they had the international pipers competition going on the same time...hundreds of pipers from all across the earth play...it was a great sight to see a Japanese person in Tartan kilt and an african person in tartan kilt play amongst all other nationalities.
Castle rock hostel or something like that was my place of stay, just around the corner they had great haggis and other scottish traditional food.
I could write a column for the lonely planet or make a documentary fror travel channel about this beautiful city.

Those pics bring back happy memories.

I performed in a play at Augustine's on George IV bridge as part of the 2002 fringe festival. This was before I had bought my first kilt unfortunately.

The atmosphere on Prince's street was fabulous. Some people were wearing kilts casually but not nearly enough I'm afraid.

    Next time I'll be kilted!!
