Family Friendly & Gala Water
To further what Mike said, I think it's a good idea to always keep in mind that this is supposed to be a family friendly forum, so a good rule of thumb is, "would I feel comfortable showing my mother or grandmother or young daughter this thread?" (I don't really want to hear the question, "Daddy, what's 'backdoor action,' as my little girl reads over my shoulder!)
I hate to say, but sometimes there are threads on here where that answer is no! I'm not trying to call anyone out in particular, but the reality is that sometimes the things we say among friends or in private are not always appropriate for a wider audience (i.e. this forum). Of course I have the same issue with a lot of television commercials these days, so maybe I'm suffering from early-onset curmudgeonitis. (No, I don't want to know why Ted is smiling!)
In any case, on the subject of tartan, if one is looking for a traditional and readily availabile tartan in those festive colors, why not try the Gala Water tartan?
