I LOVE his Pink/Maroon/Pontifical Purple Kilt! Leave it to me in your will, and I'll diet to fit into it. It looks really grand.

Yes, it goes very well, but unfortunately, the shirt is long enough and the "Pink Panache" is just short enough, that if he were to wear them together, you might occasionally get a glimpse of the bottom of the shirt.
Be well,

Jamie, your slip is showing.
Nice looking shirt though. I will echo the earlier remarks in favor of buttons over snaps, though.

Follow up
I have had the opportunity to wear the Heritage shirt a couple of times.
The first was to the San Francisco Zoo where it proved quite comfortable both in the cool of the morning and the midday heat.
The second was a church swing dance. I wore same outfit I modelled at the begininng of this thread. After dancing for about two hours straight it was fairly wet with perspiration. It dried very quickly on the ride home in the convertible.
Washing it has been a simple matter. I stuck it in the washing machine on a cold / gentle cycle and hung it to dry. No ironing was required ( it has seemed relatively proof against wrinkling).
I really don't have much more to say than I recommend it.
Cheers
Jamie

I missed this post when it first went up. But I'm catching up now.
I have looked Empire Canvas and was interested more in their cold weather stuff, that is until I just moved to Virginia. This shirt had not really seamed all that interesting to me until this review. It looks like this product answers problems I have with alot of other Jacobite/Ren Faire shirts. They mostly seemed thin and week and a dime a dozen as style goes. This one seems well made and a little unique. $80 sounds steep but if the quality is there then its probably worth it and Jamie and The F-H.C.A.G. says that is definitely there. Honestly I would expect less from a company that advertises on this forum.
So definitely in the future. The question is how far...

You did mean this, right?

Here are a couple of pictures from my trip to the SF Zoo. My green heavyweight kilt from Stillwater with green hose and flashes was already a favorite look of mine. I think the shirt really goes well with them.
