...it just occurred to me that it isn't going to be easy to find dandelions in January in the Midwestern USA. I doubt that I'll find very many florists that will be stocking them any time of the year. After much effort I've found the minimally invasive (least poison) way to eliminate them from my own lawn so I'll have to poach a few from the local park.

Actually if you go to a fairly well stocked produce dept. at a large grocery store, in Michigan it would be a Meijers, they usually have dandelions in stock for salads and such...no flowers but greens anyway.
