Kilted skirts
Need some information on some kilted skirts. Red_Raven_Studios' mother was given some kilted skirts One is Lochcarron and Johnstone tartan. One is made by Moffat Weavers in Muted Red Faser tartan. The third is made in Canada and labeled the Scottish Shop, Carmel by the Sea, CA. I don't know which, if any, tartan it is, though it's primarily cream or white and blues. I'll post pictures when I get them (we're getting ready to go out for the evening).
Can anyone tell me anything about them?

Unknown tartan from The Scottish Shop in Carmel by the Sea. This one closes with button, rather than straps and buckles.

Hey, Chrome Scholar-
To help identifying your tartan, if you have a flatbed scanner, flop the apron on it and scan it. One can even get a thread count that way. I can't remember who told me that, but it does sure help one get a better idea of the sett.
