Kilted at BYU
Greetings all,
As a pretty new kilt wearer most of my excursions have been just around the house and a quick run to the store.
But this week, I'm in Utah at BYU. Its an event called Education Week, anyway I spent the entire day on campus with about 12,000 people from all over the country, only one in a kilt (me). I got lots and lots of positive feedback and was able to mention some of our fine sponsors to prospective kilties. Its been a great day, and it won't be the last kilted day this week!
My Bride and I went to a play on Campus this evening (The White Star) in which there were two Scottish characters. When we met the actors after the play the gentlemen who used a Scots accent, noticed my kilt and apologized for murdering my accent. I laughed and said, I'm from California, no problem
A great day kilted is worth at least two or three regular great days!
Cheers,
Marshal Moroni

Congrats!
I'm always amused when people ask me if I'm Scottish. (My lineage is completely japanese.)

I have begun to get used to the heritage questions. I really enjoy the people who just smile with no comment (especially the ladies).
