Regrets?
I'll second all remarks concerning not wearing the kilt earlier ![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
But...never to late, as they say :-)
Porrick and I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Academic Year at our College yesterday, wearing kilts (of course). The way the ladies clap there hands at the sight of men in kilt really makes me regret not starting with kilt earlier ;-)

I'll third Glen's regret. Should've started long ago. Wanted to when I was a kid, but in August 2002, at the age of 26, I finally made the decision to just do it. Now that I'm 31, going on 32, it's a normal thing for me. Sure, the family thinks I should blend in, but, ya know, they can blend in all they want. I'm doing my own thing.

I regret that I did not discover "The Power of The Kilt" and the effect it has on women when I was young and single.
But hey, for a mid-life crisis a kilt (Even an expensive Tank) is a whole lot cheaper than a Ferrari.

Well said, Wizard!
Every time I buy something else kilt-related, and my wife says something along the lines of '...not more kilt stuff?' I say that as mid-life crises go, it's cheaper than a pointless red sports car.
Best regards

I don't know, for what I spent on kilts and accessories the last couple of years, I probably could have bought a small car, although certainly not a Ferrari. The bad thing is I'm not finished yet. There's always another kilt or another accessory to buy.![Confused](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
I do have to say that I too wish I had known about (or could afford) kilts when I was younger.

I have a couple of regrets....not many considering my 50 years spent here so far.
but none of them have anything to do with kilts.
