Ferries sail from the mainland at Kennacraig (2 hours sailing) or flights from Glasgow Airport (about half hour flight in a De Havilland Canada Twin Otter which takes twenty passengers).
There is an Islay album on my website if you want to view a few pics from my last visit there in July 2005.
On my website home page click on "My Photos"
On my Flickr home page click on "Collections"
On my collections page click the "Aircraft" mosaic
Then Click on the set marked "Islay 4th July, 2005" the set starts at the airport and via a taxi ride leads to some views of Bowmore.
Thanks for the tip, I tried your photos but couldnt find anything ??
