I have one and I love it. I can't wait for the leather version to be released to the public.

Just wait for the brown leather version. I'm sure it will coordinate rather well with a tan belt.

I work downtown Seattle. I'd be happy to bring mine in for you to examine, if you like.
For the money, it's a great sporran!

Thanks for the offer, but not necessary, the opinions of you great folks is good enough for me
You live in Seattle? You, I, and the other Seattle xmarks folks should get a kilt night together

And so it starts...
"Just one kilt is all I'll need", "What's the harm? One small kilt night".
I said this, this past January. Five kilts later, 4 sporrans (including the SWK Nightstalker - very good BTW I'll highly recommend.) Hose galore, 6 belts, 3" on the waist...
It may seem like a good idea, let's meet some of the rabble. Don't you see? The next kilt night you have to show up in something new. "What Streetcar has a new kilt? Look he's getting all the attention, I'll show him"...
"...Hello Mr Newsome, yes, I'd like a new Ilse of Skye box pleat, credit card number is..."

Well, you all did warn me that this would be addictive, but I don't mind

I have one and am completely addicted to the convenience of the zipper top and front velcro flap pocket. No fumbling with drawstrings or magnets. Wish they made a brown/tan nylon too. Wish they made a leather in brown and in black...hearing/reading there's one coming. I sure hope so.
What's weird is the preference just evolved naturally from using the thing. Its more functional for me anyway.
Only down side, as much as I wear it its starting to show wear, but at that price can just buy a new one. Only other down side, wear it with a regular leather sporran strap. Or do they even send a nylon "strap?"
And the color is sort of wearing off the leather on the tassels...but no biggie. Just use a Sharpie to recolor.
You done good to order one and you'll soon see why the rest of us are so addicted to it.
