I completely agree. Even if you find someone that doesn't have a problem with the fact that you're wearing a kilt, sometimes they still have problems with the one you're wearing. One of my friends just recently moved here from Ireland, and he saw me in the pub wearing my Irish National Tartan, and he always like to make fun of me for wearing a "skirt". I told him that at least I was wearing his countries tartan, and he didn't care. He still thinks that the kilts are silly.
So it just goes to prove, that even if someone is Irish, Scottish, Welsh, or whatever, that not even everyone from those countries appreciates the kilt.
