I'd attend, but $30.00 seems a little steep to me.. or maybe I'm just a cheapskate.

Agreed. But, the term is thrifty. It seems cool, but, I think I'll stick with the normal kilt nights. $50 buys a lot of food @ the Celtic Bayou, among other places.

FROM ONE SIDE TO THE OTHER

i wil canvass the group over here to see if we can arrange for a group to come over to Seattle, WA. I am part of a group here in Victoria, BC and hope we can form a annula cross over travel trip to both sides of the graet wet divide. Un fotunately the time of your bash, is very close to our Remmembrance Day, so will have to arrange for some time considerations.

Please contact me for othe information.

    Cool Worth every penny

    Ladies & Gentlemen of Xmarksthescot,

I would like to clear up any possible confusion about the value you will receive by attending the Kilt & Mini Bash and the fact it is listed as under the Kilt Night category.

The Bash is not so much a Kilt Night as it is a Kilt Celebration. Nor is the Bash merely a night of people sporting kilts ~ the Bash will be a gathering of 100's of men in kilts plus 100's of lovely ladies dressed in mini-kilts and Catholic Schoolgirl outfits - in fact Every Single Person Attending will be wearing either a kilt or a mini. Thus simply from this standpoint the Bash is far from a traditional Kilt Night.

Plus the Bash features live music all night long from local bands both Celtic and Rock n Roll, Celtic-inspired contests, Celtic drink specials, guest shenanigans etc.

Every year the Bash attracts guests from all over the United States & Canada to attend. People have actually flown in from New York City, Denver, Dallas plus we even had a volunteer one year from San Diego.

That said, one easy and "cheap" way to attend this valuable event is to check out the several volunteer opportunities we have available which offer a free pass in exchange for a small amount of time help setting up on the day of the event.

At the very least we hope you will take the time to check out our Official Kilt & Mini Bash website and share in the fun that way.

    Enthusiastically,

    KiltGuy Jeffrey of Seattle
Producer of The Original Kilt & Mini Bash

P.S. I am of both Celtic blood (Scottish, Irish & French) and own and wear my SportKilt, Utilikilt and a custom-made Tartan kilt.
