    Well, congradulations. I did some sailing on MORC and PHRF boats as a kid, never single handed though.

    Are you doing the Trans Pac in the Santa Cruz 27?! That would seem like quite an adventure! I imagine her small size would make her easy to single hand though...

    Congrats!
    I only get to visit the US Sailboat Show in Annapolis. My wife puts up with alot but not quite on board with a boat.

    Yes, and it's not just me... Piper George is planning on doing it, too, also in a Santa Cruz 27. But for George it's a big step UP in size....see, he did the 2004 race in a Moore 24!

    My hats off to you! I grew up sailing Thistles (#1778- Independance +2 was the last one) but I haven't gotten to sail mauch in the last 15 years or so. I am truly envious of your endeavors. Good Luck on your upcoming voyage!
