    From Wyoming where the men are men and the sheep are scared (little CO vs WY humor there....) we have the Southeastern Wyoming Pipes and Drums.

    From one of the Denver area high schools we have the Overland Park High School Marching Scots. Again, they have been at the games several times over the years and sound great each year. Real good bunch of youngsters...

    Along with the bands we have a few hard to place groups so I'll just add them here.

    Not sure exactly where they are from but here is a JROTC group.

    What an impressive selection of bands, and all to be seen, and heard, at one Highland Games - but I do not understand the presence of so many non-Celtic (in other words, military) elements at such an event. I am wondering what they have to do with Scottish Games or Gatherings.

    With so many wonderfully authentic kilted uniforms on view, these 'Brigadoonish' , but colourfully co-ordinated, outfits look strangely out of place to my traditional eyes, but I guess that's just 'me' !

    Of course the sheep are scared. Sheepskin makes great bags for Highland Pipes.
