Inducting a New Kiltie

She has reason to be. The Hamners have a wee bairn, and she's a very girly girl. As soon as she sees Dad's kilt, she'll want one to match. And Hamner told me that his mother's family has a pink tartan, so the Wee Miss will soon want one of those as well.

Indeed. A whole 28 years in the Grand Canyon state (which accounts for better than three-quarters of my life). Kilts are a bit of a rarity in Tucson - I'm rather looking forward to being that rarity.

Welcome aboard. I have to say that most of the time it's great to be the "Man in the Kilt". You get all of the attention that way (don't tell your wife though).

It's also fun to be part of a group of guys in kilts.
